Precision medical imaging innovation to advance musculoskeletal health

Our Research

The Teeter Lab advances precision medical imaging for musculoskeletal health.

We develop quantitative imaging tools and biomarkers that capture the mechanical and biological performance of bones, joints, and implant systems.

Our research spans x-ray, RSA, CT, weight-bearing CT, MRI, and PET to link imaging data with clinical outcomes and guide new therapies.

In partnership with industry, we validate next-generation implants, surgical robotics, and biologic or digital technologies that enhance osseointegration and joint preservation.

We also create enabling tools like radiomics and machine-learning models, wearable and embedded sensors, and 3D-printed devices to translate imaging science into real-world solutions.
